This Sunday, Team Perennial & Sprinkler Surgeon will be running the Rock ’n’ Roll Half Marathon in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
We’re raising money to help support the kids and families at St. Jude, where families never have to worry about paying for treatment, travel, housing, or food while their child is receiving care.
Since we registered for the race late, we weren’t able to officially sign up as St. Jude Heroes through the marathon. So instead, we created this GoFundMe so that all donations we raise can still go directly to St. Jude and support the incredible work they do for children and families.
Race day is this Sunday, but donations are open through June 11th! Any amount helps and means so much to us (and to the families St. Jude supports).
Thanks so much for supporting our team and cheering us on while we take on 13.1 miles for a great cause!
More information on St. Jude Children's Research Hospital:
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live. When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was largely considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate in the U.S. from 20% to more than 80%. But in many countries only 1 out of 5 children who develop cancer will survive. Every child deserves a chance to live their best life and celebrate every moment. We won’t stop until no child dies from cancer, no matter where they live.
