Hi, we are Charlie Haurin Brody Cohen and Whitaker Leyland and we are students at Central Bucks East High School. This year our community suffered the heartbreaking loss of two students. Their absence has left a lasting impact on their friends, families, classmates, and everyone who knew them. In their memory, and to help support others that may be struggling. me, Brody Cohen, and Whitaker Leyland are running the David Goggins 48 miles in 48 hours. Over the course of two days, we will be running 4 miles every 4 hours to raise mental health awareness and to support efforts that provide resources, education, and assistance for those facing the challenges of mental health. Every mile represents our commitment to starting conversations, breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, and reminding people that they aren't alone. Mental health afects everyone, whether directly or through someone they care about. Too often people suffer in silence. We hope this challenge will not only raise funds but also encourage people to check on their friends, speak openly about mental health, and seek help when they need it. We are asking for your support as we take on these two days. Any donation no matter the size will make a difference. Even just sharing this message can help change someone's life. All proceeds will go to the NAMI foundation which is a non-profit that helps support the area. We will be running from Friday June 12th at 8PM to Sunday June 14th at 8PM.
