Myself and Benny will be running Leeds Marathon on 12th May 2024 to raise money for Maggies Cancer Care. This is a charity close to my heart due to my mums diagnosis. Please read how Maggies helped her through it -

‘I was diagnosed with neuro endocrine cancer two and a half years ago.

I am looked after by an excellent team at St James hospital in Leeds.

This often involves appointments, check ups blood tests etc.

Maggies is a charitable organisation that is situated just outside the hospital, it offers support to people living with cancer and their family and friends.

It is a place where you can find sanctuary and peace if you just need quiet or an impartial ear if you feel you need to talk.

Living with cancer daunting and scary, without the help of organisations like Maggies it is easy to loose motivation and hope for the future.

Maggies relies solely on donations and sponsorships which is why my son Lewis and his friend Benny have decided to raise funds through running the Rob Burrows marathon Leeds in May.
