When Benjamin Franklin said this back in 1776 upon the signing of the Declaration of Independence, I'm pretty sure he didn't have pullups in mind.  But 2020 has been a weird year, so now we are talking pullups.

How does 4,030 pullups in 17 hours sound? 

I am going to be taking on Navy SEAL David Goggins' personal pullup record to raise money and awareness for our military veterans.   Not only that, but you can watch me do it!  On Tuesday December 22, I'll be livestreaming the entire event over Instagram (@RyanMurphy804).

So please join me in standing for our military veterans, just as they stood for us through their service.  All donations will go to Team Rubicon.  I will also be matching the first $1,000 in donations.

Team Rubicon helps veterans to deal with their past traumas and find purpose after the military by giving them the opportunity to continue to use their skills for the betterment of our communities.  Team Rubicon pairs veterans with first responders and disaster professionals and deploys them to rebuild communities that have been hard hit by humanitarian disasters like Coronavirus and hurricanes.
