About a year ago, Kirsten discovered something life-changing: she found her real father.

When I first met Kirsten and her father at the park a few months ago, they shared their incredible story of how they found each other after years apart. They have both overcome so much to get to this moment. The photos you see today show their journey continuing. Kirsten’s children now are spending time with their grandfather, and building the kind of family bond they had always dreamed of! It is such a blessing!

This family is humble, kind, and proud of where they come from. They’ve faced challenges with gratitude, but right now they could use a helping hand. With recent cuts and shortages in EBT and SNAP benefits, maaking ends meet has become even more difficult.
