On October 16, Merrick and I are running the Detroit marathon. We've decided to dedicate our run to help Cure SMA. Every year for the past decade, we've joined hundreds of Michigan families at the Cure SMA 5k fundraiser. This year, our goal is to run the Detroit marathon and make a difference along the way.

Cure SMA is dedicated to the treatment and cure of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), the number one genetic cause of death for infants. They fund groundbreaking research and provide families the support they need. Our goal is to raise $500.
