Charlie Feathers is a 7 year old pekin duck that is losing his ability to walk.

We have tried antibiotics, and we are currently awaiting blood test results, but ultimately only a CT scan and xray will be able to tell us what is going on and I devastatingly cannot afford it by myself. I know a lot will only see a duck, but to me he is my entire world and reason for living.

When I lost my Mum to breast cancer at 19, grief and depression soon consumed every aspect of my life and made me a shadow of who I was. Charlie Feathers came into my life two days after my Mum's death anniversary as a duckling in a bucket, his future unclear. From that day he has become my best friend and my reason for being, and it absolutely breaks my heart that I cannot afford a simple scan that will help me make him better.
