Hi, my name is Abby and I am fundraising on behalf of my best friend, Amanda Bertrand. Amanda is an aspiring teacher, currently completing a fellowship at a local elementary school in their special education department. She is also in graduate school pursuing a master's degree in Education. To complete her fellowship, Amanda moved into her first out-of-college apartment.

Tragically, she lost her apartment and belongings in a building fire last night. Thankfully, Amanda was safe and not present for the fire. While she is currently figuring out the details, she has lost clothes, furniture, kitchen supplies, and other essentials in the fire and has been displaced.
